Dave:  Last season was a tough one for the team.   Do you feel the Crunch have something to prove this season?

Alexandre:  yeah for sure, by not making the playoff last year we need to make them this year.

Dave:  How did you prepare for this season?  How much were you able to train without affecting your injury?

Alexandre: that was a tough summer for me because I did some rehab everyday but at the end, I m really happy to play again after missing 8 month of action.

Dave:  What are the details of your current contract (how many years left)?

Alexandre:   It is my last year this season.

Dave: The Columbus organization has finally achieved some depth in the forward position.    Do you feel this will hurt your chances of a call up this season?
Alexandre: I don't know, but right now I just try to get myself in better shape because of my knee injury and we have a big challenge in front of us here right now. so I won t be surprise if I stay here for the rest of the year.
Dave: If you do not see a lot of NHL action, will you consider the season a failure for you personally?

Alexandre: absolutely not, the AHL is a very good league and I m still learning a lot.

Dave:   You are one of the few drafted players on the Crunch roster.  Do you feel this puts additional pressure on you?

Alexandre: no , with the new staff in place, I think they gonna try to give a chance to everybody to show what they can do.

Dave:   Which AHL teams do you most enjoy playing against?  Why?

Alexandre:   Rochester because since I've been here , that team is our big rivalry.

Dave:   Which AHL teams do you most enjoy least against?  Why?

Alexandre:  Wilkes-Barre, I just hate to play there.
Dave: A lot of your teammates from last year have gone to or stayed in Europe this season.  Have you been in touch with any of them and if so, how are they doing?

Alexandre:   actually no I did not have the chance to follow any body yet , but I m sure they do just fine.
Dave: There are so many new faces this season, is there anyone that has not returned that you feel would be a perfect fit for this year’s team?

Dave:  If you were not playing hockey, what sport would you  play?  Do you think you would be good enough to be a pro at it?

Alexandre:   I played soccer for 10 years as a goalie in pretty good league, but as far to become a pro soccer player, probably not.
