Dave: What do you credit most for the team's current hot streak?
Kent: I think that we are playing smart hockey and taking advantage of all of our
opportunities.
Dave: Prior to the injuries and call-ups you skated on "The Crash Line" with
Jody Shelley and Blake Bellefeuille. Were you having as much fun as it
looked like you were? Who would you most like to play on a line with now?
Kent: Yes we were having fun out there together and I think that we really played well together. It doesn't matter who I play with because we have so many talented guys on the team.
Dave: When you tangled with Cleveland's Eric LaPlante after his cheap shot on
Bellefeuille, there was a lot of jawing going on. What was being said?
Would you like another shot at him?
Kent:
I just thought want he did was very dirty and if he keeps doing it that he
was going to get it right back.

Dave: How has Jeff Ware's injury situation affected the team? Is it mentioned in
the locker room .perhaps an inspiration to go out and play as hard as he
did every night?
Kent: It was very tough to swallow the bad news about Jeff, not only because he is
an important player to the team but that he has to retire at such a young age.
Dave: Did you ever fight someone you wished you hadn't? (worse beating you have
ever taken)
Kent: My first year of junior I went after one of their goal scorers and in
return I got their tough guy. I don't regret it, I just wish that I would
have done a little better.
What is your favorite:
Local Restaurant - Lemon Grass
TV Show -Seinfeld
Video Game- don't play them
Band/Music- The Offspring/Everclear
Dave: Who is your best friend on the team/person you spend time with?
Kent: Blake and I live together and do pretty much everything as a duo. We also
hang out with Jeremy and Brad a lot because they live three doors down.
Dave: Do you have a nickname other than MacDaddy and do you know why we call you that?
Kent: No, but lately a lot of people have been calling me that and I do not know why :-)
 |
Dave: Do you have any siblings?
Kent: 3 brothers and 2 sisters
Dave: When did you start playing hockey?
Kent: When I was 3.
Dave: Who is your favorite hockey player/team?
Kent: Growing up I was a Calgary Flames fan. My favorite player was Eric Lindros.
Dave: What is your personal timetable for playing your first game in the NHL?
Kent: Being called up is out of my control. The only thing that I can do is play as well as I can.
Dave: What do you do when not playing hockey
Kent: go to movies, relax, hang out with my friends.
Dave: What do you want to do when your playing days are over?
Kent: That's something that I'm not really 100% sure of. I'm really interested in
business and think that it is something that I would like to pursue, but
right now I'm really just focusing on hockey.
